This personal project explores the principle of symmetrical composition, a foundational element in traditional Persian art, combined with the tactile texture of watercolor illustration. My goal was to blend cultural aesthetics with hand-crafted materials in a contemporary motion design context.

▲ THE DRAGON & THE TREE ▲
Developed from an improvised sketch, this piece symbolizes the interplay between mythology and nature.

▲ THE DOGS & THE CROWS ▲
Inspired by a moment I witnessed from my window: stray dogs in a playful standoff with a group of crows.

▲ AUTUMN EQUINOX ▲
A hazy, emotional depiction of a man walking home during the early days of autumn, surrounded by maple trees.

▲ THE BUILDINGS ▲
A reflection on the problematic and emotionally heavy living spaces I’ve experienced over the years.
▼ The original watercolor layers were hand-painted, designed, and used directly in this animation.
